Registration

The ’early-bird’ registrations must be made by 14 April 2022. Link to the virtual conference platform will be sent to participants closer to the conference (8 June).

Please note: You will receive a confirmation to your email shortly after you have sent your registration. If you do not receive a confirmation, please check your junk email folder just in case. You may also contact info@aboaservices.fi.

* Student registration rates are for full-time students only.

** Developing countries: The Futures Conference 2022 is offering a reduced registration fee to residents of developing countries. Countries classified as developing countries for this purpose are those whose economies are listed by the World Bank as “Low income”, “Lower Middle Income”, or “Upper Middle Income” in the World Bank list of economies. https://databank.worldbank.org › data › download › site-content › CLASS
Delegates must be residing, working and be employed in a developing country to qualify for the reduced rate. We will also gladly accept registrations at full rates from residents of these countries who have sufficient resources.

Fees Include

In-Person Participation in Turku, Finland

• Possibility to reserve accommodation with a special conference rate

The conference fee does not include dinner on Thu 16 June. Ticket cost is 60 EUR (incl. VAT) and can be purchased online during the registration process (open in Jan 2022).

Methods of payment

1) Credit card payment. On the registration page choose the credit card, click pay, and you will be forwarded to the payment service. Payment service provider Paytrail Plc*.

2) Online bank payment. On the registration page choose your bank and you will be forwarded to the payment service. Payment service provider Paytrail Plc*.

3) PDF invoice (payment with bank transfer). A transaction fee of 10 EUR will be added. A PDF invoice will be sent to your e-mail after you have submitted your registration. You can also download the pdf invoice to your computer after submitting your registration. Terms of payment: 14 days net.

4) E-invoice (Verkkolasku, for Finnish companies only). A transaction fee of 10 EUR will be added. An e-invoice will be sent to the given e-invoicing address. Terms of payment: 14 days net.

* Paytrail Plc (FI2122839-7) acts as a collecting payment service provider in cooperation with Finnish banks and credit institutions. Paytrail Plc is authorsed payment institution. Paytrail Plc appears as the payee on the bank statement or card invoice and forwards the payment to the event organiser. In case of reclamations, please contact the event organiser.

Cancellation

Cancellation of registration must be made in writing (email) to info@aboaservices.fi before 15 May 2022. No fees will be refunded after this date.  A processing fee of EUR 50 will be deducted from all refunds.

In the event that the conference is CANCELLED by the meeting organisers, or cannot take place for any reason outside the control of the organisers, the registration fee shall be refunded in full. The liability of the conference organiser shall be limited to that refund.

In the event that the conference must be CHANGED TO A FULLY VIRTUAL (online only), the difference between the paid fees and the online registration fee will be refunded in full. The liability of the conference organiser shall be limited to that refund.

Data Protection

The organiser has instructed Aboa to handle the practical arrangements for the event, and Aboa therefore serves as the personal data processor and processes the personal data in accordance with the attached data protection statement.
