In response to the current COVID-19 pandemic, Futures Conference 2022 has officially moved to a hybrid conference format. We encourage in-person attendance of the conference but we are also excited to accommodate virtual participation for both authors and attendees who cannot travel to Turku, Finland.
The Virtual Conference Platform
The conference is built on a versatile platform called ProspectumLive. Personal links to the platform will be provided as soon as the platform is activated, no later than 8 June 2022.
You will find the program, live streamed presentations of the keynote speakers, links to the various online sessions and poster exhibition, all on the platform. The platform works both on desktop and mobile.
The platform will be open from 8 June until 31 August, and the programme recordings will be available during that time for all the conference participants.

The Conference is live streamed from Turku
The conference will be organised in the Radisson Blu Marina Palace Hotel, Turku, Finland.
Turku is the oldest city of Finland, celebrating its 800th anniversary in 2029. It has a compact size, perfect for exploring the exciting mixture of old and new. Turku is located in the region of Southwest Finland and is one of Finland’s biggest cities.
The versatile livelihood structure, top class selection of education, culture, and services, as well as the beautiful archipelago, form a magnetic combination in Turku. In Turku there is everything, but still, Turku is small enough that you can go almost everywhere by foot or bike.
